The Spotit Team Front and Center at Cisco Live

For nearly a decade, spotit has been a loyal partner of Cisco. Every year, a substantial delegation of colleagues heads to Cisco Live to catch the latest developments from the Cisco world. This year proved to be another captivating and tiring journey, as reported by our enthusiastic spotit attendees. In a brief and impactful report, you’ll gain insights into the future plans of this American technology giant, as if you were right there in the front row.

About Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Much More…

With anticipation, over 14,000 IT professionals gathered in Amsterdam for the annual Cisco pilgrimage. This year, the spotlight was strongly on the impact of Artificial Intelligence, as Oliver Tuszik, SVP & President of Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Cisco, emphasized its unprecedented power: “At Cisco, we see endless possibilities and a future that is more efficient, innovative, and cost-effective for everyone.” Throughout the numerous sessions, Cisco showcased AI innovations in networking, security, collaboration, and monitoring. Integrated AI is intended to become the driving force for operational excellence and enhanced digital experiences, presenting a promising outlook.

Another crucial enabler remains the Cloud, already well-established in many organizations. Cisco continues to advance in technological innovations, including:

  • Cisco Networking Cloud: A platform-driven, AI-powered solution aiming to simplify, secure, and scale operations across network infrastructures, both on-premise and in cloud models. The seamless integration of Cisco Networking Cloud with Cisco ThousandEyes promises unparalleled insights and actions in the realm of networking.
  • Cisco Security Cloud: Innovations like the AI Assistant for Security and Cisco Identity Intelligence confirm Cisco’s commitment to simplified, integrated security solutions. These enhancements aim to streamline security operations, protect data and identities in AI-driven environments, and ensure automated protection.
  • Cloud Monitoring for Catalyst Wireless: This innovation provides enhanced visibility, simplified management, and robust security for wireless and wired network infrastructures. The transition to cloud-native platforms reflects Cisco’s dedication to delivering scalable network solutions.

Cisco also emphasizes its commitment to sustainability. It’s fitting that Cisco Live dedicated attention to this aspect. Technology plays a crucial role in achieving sustainable growth. “Cisco’s solutions should offer paths to significant energy savings and operational cost reductions,” stated Adele Trombetta, SVP and GM for CX in EMEA. This commitment is certainly commendable. For more information on Cisco’s sustainability charter, feel free to explore Cisco solutions driving sustainability | Cisco ESG Reporting Hub.
